A question for S5 GTU owners
If you read in the lounge, my S5 GXl got smacked by a crazed female driver. And now, as I await the insurance adjuster's job to be done I've been looking for a couple suitable replacements.
I came across a white 89 GTU. My question has to do with swapping parts onto it from my busted up GXL. First off and most importantly, are the hubs 5 lug? If so, then can I just unbolt the stock calipers and put a set of 4 pistons and discs on?
the next, does the wiring harness have the connections for fog lights, power locks and windows already on it? I know on an SE I had it had a cruise control plug in place that went into a dummy slot, since it didn't have a cruise module.
If I go with the GTU, I'll just pull a few tings off my GXL and then likely part it out.

good to hear. Man, it's hard to find a white S5 FC around here in good condition. my GXL was pretty nice but some fender rust.... I'm still bummed. I've got it sitting in my driveway waiting to get looked at by insurers and everytime I come home the first thing I see is it's mis-shapen form
good to know it'll be pretty much just straight forward swaps to get it where I want it.
