question regarding 13bre

Right now i have a chance of getting a good 13bre for fairly cheap.... with good compression. as of right now i have a 88 tii with 5k miles on the rebuild, pfc, gt35r, 1300cc secondaries, walbro, fmic, etc..... now my question is how much more will i gain if i go with the 13bre and throw my gt35r on there. I'm just wondering if its worth it or not money wise.... I just want to make sure that there is a substantial gain and not just like 30hp..... that just wouldn't be worth the money.

also would my turbo mani fit on the 13bre or would i have to get a different on and fab another dp?

I'm asking because I would like to know the gains from a 13bre. I'm probably going to rebuild and port the 13bre...but I'm not sure if the gains from a bre is going to justify the money I'm going to put in.

13B-RE has much larger intake ports, also the intake manifold is superior to that of the 13BT...
so more air will give you more power and better spool, and the intake manifold will give better throttle response.

in the UK drag-scene pretty much all the serious FD guys run the 13B-RE and that has to be for a reason
