Question for people with cargo covers..

I just got done redoing my interior in black, that I pulled from a '89 GTU. I thought the car originally had a cargo cover, but Im not sure. ANyway, I just bought one, and I need to see how it is attached in the front, where the speaker covers are. Here is a pic of mine, as you can see its just kind of dangling..so I need to do something about that Thanks..

Also, there is a snap fastener on the carpeting that covers the speaker towers, on both sides. They are just out of the picture here, but does anyone know what that would be for?

Well I was just told that the pivit point was moulded into the rear speaker covers..so I either need to find a set of those, or rig something up to work..

i acutally installed mine in january. if i remember correctly the only thing holding it down are 4 screw in the front which bolt on right behind the storage bins. then the cover just lays over the speakers, and attaches to little metal clamps on your rear hatch window where the arms of your hatch are

you're cover doesn' look like mine, and that's weird because we both have s5. I'm a 1990 GXL and this is what my cover looks like: notice how it's one solid carboard piece, instead of two split. also, the front on mine is a solid piece instead of curtain.

here is a closeup of how the hinges attach to the strut towers:

and here is how the cover attaches from the front:

the front, with a total of three snaps across the bottom:

the tower again:

He has the S4 cover but I'm not sure how the S4 one mounts since I don't have the accompanying S4 speaker covers.

I do, however, have an S5 cover on my S4 and I don't have the buttons on the wheel well carpet and had to drill one hole on the cargo bin frame for the middle button to snap on.

Hmm, I do have a pair of MINT Black TII Seats that'll compliment your setup. I've even glassbeaded/painted the Seat Brackets. Let me know If your deal flops.
