Arrow Question on Auxilliary Cooling Fan

What are It's dimensions? I'm asking for the circumfrence to be exact. I'm looking for a fan for my Oil Cooler (for awhile actually) and I wanted to know If this can be modded to suit.

As per the FSM, it's diameter is 255mm (10"). This makes the circumference 800mm (~31") but I don't know why you need that...

It would do a very poor job of cooling the oil cooler unless you connected them with a transition similar to the stock cooling fan shroud.

Oddly enough, I was just thinking about this yesterday as I sat under the car and scraped away rust and oil (preparation for undercoating)...

It seems to me that you could significantly improve the oil cooler (especially with a FMIC!) by mounting a cheap rice scoop (Pep Boys/Canadian Tire/Auto Zone) upside down on the undertray. Then make a duct that leads to the oil cooler, and mount a fan HORIZONTALLY where the scoop meets the undertray. This way, the duct in the front bumper feeds the FMIC/rad, while the scoop feeds the oil cooler.

I've seen people using a pair of small fans mounted to the rear of the cooler itself, and operated by a thermoswitch just like coolant e-fans, but what I heard from them was that it didn't work all to well, since there was more air flowing through it already than the fans could pull through. From what I've seen, it's all about ducting and keeping the air from escaping and finding other routes out.

I have the front bottom pan lowered & connected to a chin air splitter.

It gives more flow & pressure on the front of the coolers, and more vacuum to exhaust heat under the engine.
