Question to all varnishers
Hi you experts :-)
I did let repaint my car 4 years ago but already 1 year later most paint at the wheel arches was gone because of stones I guess. On another Rex I noticed that near the bottom of the car the paint isnt smooth but there seems to be some kind of rough protective coating. So can anybody tell me how I can protect the paint down there, because its realy time to do it again :-(

That "rough paint" goes by several names like Stone Guard, Chip Guard, etc. Any body shop can clarify. At any rate, the only real way to protect the wheel wells is with mud guards. But you may or may not like this look.
