Question about the water thermo sensor connector
Question about the water thermo sensor connector
Sorry to ask such a simple question but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
Shouldn't there be something plugged in to the water thermo sensor connector?
I have an '88 NA vert 5 speed.
Just for clarification this is the part I'm talking about. Backside of water pump under the alternator.

I'm also confused about this plug I found right next to it. It does not fit however. Is this for A/T?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

yes that first sensor..a connector should be on it from the harness. It tells the ECU what temp the coolant is and compensates fuel.
That second pic.Do not worry about that wire.It is NOT used.It is a thermo switch connector and you do not have that.
