Question about walbro 255

Question about walbro 255
Today I received my walbro 255 from turblown engineering. It didn't come with a harness, should it have? Will two female Electrical connectors work instead of the true harness? Seems sketchy to have the power and ground a millimeter apart from each other while submerged in fuel. Any help is appreciated.
