Question about Vacuum and exhaust leaks

hey guys if my car has an exhaust leak between the turbo and manifold, Would the intake pull less vacuum due to the exhaust energy leaking and not spinning the turbo?

Theoretically, yes, however it would have to be an awfully big leak to be noticeable, therefore the practical answer is no. It's more a matter of static backpressure rather than "energy".

Regardless you should replace your gasket. Make sure you get some HE-MAN nuts for it that won't come loose, too.
