question about Transmission fluid

Can anyone please tell me what type of transmission oil an 86 RX7 GXL uses. O it is a manual transmission.

Use a 75W90 full synthetic, GL-5 compatable.

higgi, why even post if your not going to answer the question?... why try and cause ****? it cant be that you didnt have time to answer, cuz you had time to be a *****!

and Rotary Feind... he has a point, you should go to your nearest shop and pick up a haynes manual... good thing to keep in the trunk amongst all your **** it has answers to all the little questions you may have

I do have a haynes manual you guys. It only tells you how to change the oil it does not tell what kind it uses. And the I bought the car without the owners manual so sorry for asking a simple question. thanks to all.

Redline is very good, but you can go to autozone and get pennzoil syncromesh. It's worked better than redline for me on quieting scratchy synchros.

Even Hayes manual lists what kind it uses.

Searching is your friend. I found your answer within 5 seconds. Threads like these are pretty much useless since they've been answered a hundred times before and only bog up the server or something like that. Though I am rather surprised something basic like this isn't covered in the FAQ or archive.
