Question about TPS sensor?
Ok, What all does the TPS sensor actually do for the car? If it where to quit working what all would it affect? Samething for my throttle sensor too! I have a popping noise in my exhuast and Everytime it pops it bogs the RPM's down and when I hit the gas and hold it to around 4000rpms theres a continous popping sound thats insinct its not random!

It sounds to me like you've got a vacuum leak. Most of the time, a bad TPS will manifest itself by bucking while at held at a constant low throttle, and/or a rhythmic hunting idle.
Check for vacuum leaks.

This from SIX ROTORS from 10/17/01. It relates to your question: " There are a number of pieces to the deceleration system. The piece described in the manual is basically the anti afterburn valve in the ACV which lets air in to stop popping and banging in the exhaust.
In addition the ecu reduces the amount of fuel injected on deceleration--depending on engine speed(rpm) and throttle valve opening(TPS signal)there is fuel cut to the front rotor only or fuel cut to both rotors. The bucking you refer to is usual the result of TPS performance-poor adjustment or a malfuntion.
Replacing the air pump and ACV will not help you."
That was an answer to a post similar to yours. Sounds like you need to get the fsm free from online, and ohm out the tps from full open to full shut, looking for spikes, opens etc.
