This is my first helping reply, so i'm probably wrong.
1. Trailing = Top
2. Leading = Lower
3. Rotor 1 = Front
4. Rotor 2 = Rear

So the top two holes are trailing, the bottom two are leading. The front top and lower are rotor 1, the back top and lower are rotor 2.

It is amazing you couldn't answer your question from searching.

EvenOlder is correct. [Although I doubt that he/she is older than me.] In addition, if you get the plug wires mixed up, look at the coil/ignitors and you will find embossed on them near the wire connect points, L1 & L2, T1 & T2. So, L1 wire connects to the leading (lower) plug for rotor #1 (front), T1 wire connects to the trailing (top) plug for rotor #1, and so on.

YES!!! Just look at a rotary plug, they look completly different than a regular spark plug. Only use what is designed to work in the car (unless of course your running extreme boost but it you were you wouldn't be asking this question).

Also, leading coil is near the front, trailing coil near the back.

And leading and trailing spark plugs are different (heat range) if you're using the stock part numbers. The spark plugs have an "L" and a "T" on the insulator, indicating their position.
