question about S4 taillights

question about S4 taillights

I bought taillights like the one on the right to replace my taillights like the one on the left. Didn't expect they'd be different like that. Will they still fit?

EDIT: btw, my car is an australian DM coupe, not a convertible.

Also, is neoprene an appropriate material to cut a new gasket out of for the taillights?

You have 1 couple and 1 convertible tail light. You can fit convertible tail lights on a coupe as i know someone local who has done it. I think you’ll need the center section from the convertible to fill the gap. Not sure of what other mechanical modifications are necessary.

yes, neoprene is a suitable material.

I think australian delivered FCs got those tailights so larger number plates would fit on.
I have the center piece for the american taillights and there's nothing on them for the number plate screws to screw into. How do you attach plates to them?
