Question about Racing Beat Headers
Im planning on doing an exhaust next year. Looking at the racing beat 16130/31 and it states to remove the air pump along with the air control and check valve assembly. Can you keep the air pump with aftermarket headers? Will likely bolt the headers to the Bönez Hiflo cat. Have a 86 N/A.

you can keep the air pump. the header doesn't automatically bolt to the cat though, its too short. its really basic muffler shop work to extend it (or the cat)

If you scroll down the page in this link. RX7.COM | 1986-1991 Rx7 Exhaust (330)7-ROTARY
They have a Bonez cat that bolts to the RB header. or they sell them together as well.

No problem. The RB header doesn't bolt to the stock cat. I think Reliable Performance? Not sure when the name changed from Rotary Performance and takes the Bonez cat and makes it a bolt in setup with the RB header.
