Question about purchasing a 86' GXL

everything on the car is good, minor rust. rebuilt engine but the driveshaft and the shiftrod housing are busted. im getting it for 1000 as is, is that a good price or would i be able to find a gxl for a similar price?

I'd pass. For two reasons.

1.) Rust.

2.) Rust.

There's always more than you think.

For a pretty decent S4 GXL? $1,300 - $1,700.
