Question About OVER Cooling of car?Really fast
During the summer i thought my car was running hot..Might not have been but the needle was past half way..So i put a lower temp thermo stat in..Well now that its wInter the Needle hardly moves off Cold! NOW can this cause POOR gas milage Or DO Engine Damage to my rotary!!

Your engine is probably running at about 170. That is about the temp on the lower end of the "normal" range for a s4 stock gauge. Im guessing you went from a 195 to a 170 thermostat.
I really don't see any problem with it.

Have you been having problems with gas milage?
From what I understand the engine will run at it's most efficient at around 200. I would not think that it would cause bad gas milage or damage to the engine.
My T2 would run at 175-180 during the winter and above 200 in the summer. I dont think there is anything unusual happening to you car.

OK well im trouble shooting right now...Also i was reading that other post...I hate to keep making new threads I Dont seem to notice any switch At all Between primary and secondary fuel injectors...I Never feel them come on or nothing. unless im stupid and they are on..the car seems to want to top out at 90 mph, I allways have to keep my foot in the gas to keep going. I need someone that knows what to look for to make sure my injectors are all coming on. and that my ports are not stuck and timeing is good. I dont seem to have this "NORMAL 3800rpm bug" thank god Unless they are not working at all

Tennis, anyone
if you have to stand on the gas pedal to keep the car going (no power) good chance that your cat(s) are cloged up. test it by starting the engine and let it idle, go to the back of the car and place a hand in front of a exhuast tip. do you feel presure coming out ?

For the secondary injectors a simple idiot test is to actually unplug the secondaries and take her for a drive. If there is NO difference to when they are plugged in , you have your answer

Must...scrub...parts...
You would know if the secondaries werent' working. When they come on at 3800 rpms they take over half the load from the primaries. It feels like running into a brick wall if they aren't working. And you need to take out that piece of crap and put in a mazda thermostat. If you car is running hot then there is something wrong that needs to be fixed.
I would also check the fuel filter if you've lost high end power.
