Question about options (oh Icemark....lol)

I've got a 90 GXL, Canadian edition, and of course loaded (GXL, duh)
Just wondering about a few little options that the car may or may not have.
The light above the ignition switch.. it goes on when a door is opened, and stays on for about 6-7 seconds after it's closed. Nice feature.
Also goes on if the DRIVERS side door handle is lifted, but even if the door isn't opened- strange.
Question- is there a drivers side keyhole light??
My mom's old 323 had the same ignition light, and also had a drivers side outside keyhole light, that lit up when you lifted the door handle. (Very nice!)
Does my car have this, just not working? (surprise...)

The S4 GXL had the driver's side key illumination. After many years, wonder how many still work

Yeah the key hole light and igntion switch light should both light if you lift the drivers door handle.

The bulbs usually fail in the door keyhole lights. They take a lot of abuse from the door being slammed closed.

All the upper market North American spec ones only had it on the drivers door.

But the lower models didn't get it at all. Even my non-P package equipped 'vert didn't have it.
