Hate to ask a stupid question, but better safer than sorry.
Do you remove the Neg or Pos first?

i always remove neg first, its the "correct" way to do it. but i have seen people remove pos first many times and nothing bad happened.

Always neg first and neg connected last.

It won't matter much on most japanese cars, but you can smoke an alt real quick buy not disconnecting the neg first and hooking it up last on many german cars.

So its a good habit to get into

Since I've never owned, and never will own a german car, I won't have any problems.

I do however take your point. I'm all about habits.

Thanks all.
