Question about cruise control switch in dash.

Ok, im going to use the power switch built into the cruise control for something. I need to know though, if its continous power when the engine is being cranked. Ive already found which wires ill be using (I think) by looking at the FSM. It doesent say though if the power is continous. Also, do I need to remove the entire dash bezel, or does the switch pop out?

Ok, its in section 50-92.

It shows the power to the switch coming from "Ignition Switch Power Source 1."

But what does that mean?

there are two wires called ignition. One is hot in the on and cranking position (ignition 1) and one is hot only in the on position (ignition 2).

So then its ok then to use it as a constant power source when the ignition is on?

Its going to make a sneaky little switch, since my CC is gone.

I looked through all of the "How to read this" crap and it didnt identify what those main lines at the top did. Where did you read that info Mark? Section?

Thanks for helping.
