Question about coils and such....

There is a gutted FC in the boneyard of my auto tech class, and Ive been eyeing the coils to do a direct fire conversion on my FB. But it looks like there is two sets of coils. One mounted on the front of the drivers side fenderwell, and another on the drivers side wall, kind of behind the master cylinder. So, am I making a stupid mistake and thinking that these are the coils, when they are something else? Or what?

The front one is for the 2 leading plugs. The one back by the master cylinder is for the trailing plugs.

Those are the coil packs..

Should be marked T1 T2 & L1 L2 by the plug connectors you look close enough
