Question about ACV..

Question about ACV..
When you take the ACV off of the lower intake, there is a black plastic circular thing that seems to block off a port of some kind. What is this, and would it cause a problem is it was removed?

its a exhaust check valve... it prevents exhaust gas from exiting out through that hole, but let fresh air in to dilute the exhaust.... If you chose to keep the ACV... then their's a problem, but if you'll just toss the ACV out and put a block off plate from RACING BEAT... then its all good...
