question about ACT clutches

ok

i have a 1st gen, i know i should ask the first gen guys but the thing is i it have a SP turbo II engine and tranny and i wanna replace the clutch and PP on it and i was doing search about it and i gess everbody likes the ACT clutch kits. but i can figure wich one should i buy, i was thinking about the Extreme PP with street clutch because i drive the car alot but at the same time i do autox and drag racing too. but my question if this kit will handle the abuse or i should go to a 6 puck one, and if i do how the 6 puck is on the street as hard of engagment? thanks and i apreciate your opinions.

That appears to be a good combo, as recommended by ACT. Should give good clampng power and also be very streetable. Seems as a great deal of people go to the puck discs which is overkill for most, and terrible for street use.

I have had both a SS and a 6 puck. I would say that the 6 puck is not for traffic so if its your daily driver I would not get it. I think the best combo for our cars is a SS disk and the extreme pressure plate. It gives the best of both worlds. It also is more expensive than the HD PP but its for a reason.

SS will be fine up to 350hp or so. I had one and it was not a hard clutch pedal to use. I currently run a 4 puck with a HD plate but don't feel it's hard either.

how bad is it for daily driving? this is going to be my daily driver once i get her done. i don't have to deal with too much traffic, so i thought i could get away with the unsprung disk.
