question about 89-91 manifold..ASAP
will a 89-91 manifold conversion.. still work if i have no emissions .. no air pump .. and my actuater wired open?.. i need to know ASAP

Pretty sure it would work. This guy I know says he could do it and he knows a sh*t lot about 7's. Every time we open my hood all hes says is that he want's my intake manifold. I got a s5 he's got a s4.

Without an air pump (and a S5 ECU for that matter) there's nothing to actuate the VDI. This is what gives the S5 a chunk of its extra power over the S4. Plus you'll lose some torque down low beacuse of the aux ports being open. Doesn't sound like much of an upgrade...
You should really consider the electronic aux port actuation method descibed at www.fc3s.org. You could probably actuate the VDI the same way.
