Arrow Question aboot short shifters...

Hey folks, I have a friend thats in tool and die and he said that he would make me stuff for free so I want to get him to make me a short shift kit. What Im wondering is what the distance from the BIG ball to the SMALL ball should be. Also, should that section be made on an angle, if so what angle and in which direction (in referance to the notch in the BIG ball).

If someone could help me out that or has any other info, that would be super cool!

Thanks!

bumpity.

Several people have cut the stock shifter and made it into a short shifter.

In truth though, it won't help your 1/4 mile times.

I talked to CP Racing and they told me how I should make it... they also gave me a spare shifter so I could get the measurements and draw it all up on CAD for my friend
