Question
A friend of mine just got an 87 N/A, it dies after it gets warm, it starts misfiring and ends up stalling completely after 10 to 15 minutes. What could this be?

Most of the weird problems will be fixed by:
- Mazda 60K mile service (full tuneup + injector cleaning)
- new TPS (throttle position sensor) if it has more than 85K miles on the TPS.
- exhaust upgrades (the OEM exhaust gets clogged after 90K miles) including downpipe (eliminates 1st catalytic converter), performance main cat, and optionally a nice catback exhaust system
The tuneup for sure is your best bet.
