i wanted to know if i can take a motor out of a 88 GXL and put it in to a TT of the same year because i have the GXL runs good but still have problems with the Bypass Air control valve which i think is givving it a ruff idle. Anyway, i came across a turbo which the engine is blown but i figure if i can take out the one from my gxl and put it in the turbo but i kneed to know if it will fit.

 

This swap would be more troube then its worth, IMO.

But it can be done.
