Question Question?

Hey,
I have an 88 N/A and am going to be modifiying it. I am going to do the full exhaust (headers straight back dual), intake, & MDRace.com autcross chip. I was also thinkin of messin with the fuel system as well. I was wonderin what sizes injectors I have (think 460? or sumin close) & what would be a good upgrade (550?)for a street car, meaning as good of gas mileage as I can get. And I was also thinkin of a fuel pump too. Can someone give me suggestions. O yea, I was also wonderin about the whole secondary thing is. Sorry don't know that much, please explain it to me. Thank you.

Chris

An 88 N/A has 460cc injectors in it. You can upgrade to 550's in the secondaries if you want to, but without a streetport or some other power adder, then you really won't need them with just an exhaust and chip. You would also need either an aftermarket ECU or a S-AFC or similar fuel computer to down tune the injectors or else you will run really rich and waste alot of gas on nothing. The secondaries come online over 3800rpm. If I were you, I would invest in an A/F meter and see where my A/F ratio was after the mods, and then go from there to avoid extra un-needed expenses.
