Will the MOP from an 87 Turbo work on my 89 GTUs???

hmmm

I am going to say No(JMO) because the S4 OMP is mechanical and the S5 is electrical.

Yes.

You have to keep the S5 MOP in the car, and attached to the harness, but you can tuck it up out of the way. You've also got to attach the S4 MOP actuator arm to the S5 TB.

It's not a straight bolt-in, but S5 standalone guys do it all the time.
