Q: Where to mount a Fire Ex in an FC?

Those of you that have a fire extinguisher in your FC; where did you mount it?
Pictures?
What size did you go with?
I’m interested specifically in convertibles, but others could benefit from FC3S info.
I’m also not interested in built-in systems. I want to be able to help others as well as protect my investment.
Thanks,
~j

For real.
If you were in a hurry, could you reach that from the driver's seat as you're also trying to get out the door?

Thanks for the pic, though.

If you were in a racing harness and your car has a cage... no prolly not.

If you are in a streetcar without these things, throw it in the bin in the back and call it a day.

edit : i guess if you have a cage that would be the best option in the previous post ^^.

Is there anything wrong with just laying it on the floor behind the driver's seat? It would be easy to grab it there as you're going out the door. Of course, this assumes you don't have a cage.

I guess that would work as long as you mount it so it doesn't roll under the seat or something (if there is room)

As for the vert, not really too many places. Guess you could mount it to the a pillar like the Honda boys. Not really anywhere else to place it

Or you could maybe cut a piece of that cover that hides the spare and mount it there. But I think the problem there is that it might make the top not rest right when it's down, and if you are like me and have to keep the seat all the way back you would have to scoot the chair up, throw the targa piece up then pull it out.
