Q about my thermostat

My thermostat doesn't have the little whole would it matter when installing it?

yeah it looks like Mazdatrix is starting to sell the basic auto store moto rad thermostat which is NOT oem..

Buy a Nippon stat or a Mazda one..

Nippon is the oem supplier for Mazda

I just bought a new one from the Mazda dealer, and it looks like they moved the jiggle pin from the outside flange to inside the casing.

Try and look inside the "cage" - the jiggle pin might be on the inside.

stant, motor rad both are JUNK.. Mazda trix should know this and should only sell Mazda or nippon oem stats..

here is a pic of the Nippon one I have and installed in my car...







you can see the jiggle valve under the "cap"
