python injector rating?

I just bought 4 phython reman. TII injectors and all 4 have the same part number, 627-090. I thought that secondaries are bigger? Or do I just use two of them on my in place of my secondaires on my N/A. I know I need more fuel because I am running pretty stoich at WOT trottle instead of a little rich. I may have no clue what I am talking about so just let me know.

That worries me. I just got 2 rebuilt "Python" rebuilt injectors for my 84 GSL-SE (RE-EGI) and have been having problems with poor fuel economy and really crappy idle - I've attributed these problems to low compression on the front rotor apex seal (1/3) and also to air control issues with the BCAV and Vacuum solenoids, but sounds like if Python is only building to one 'spec' - these may be overflowing the fuel ratio for my ECU on the 13B.

I only have 2 injectors on the 13B, so you'd there there would be less of an impact, but this would explain why my fuel economy has gone from 18-20 city to 12 city since changing injectors. Plus, this could explain why my cat glows red at night (rich mixture at idle - maybe all the time!).

I'll check the part number on my replacements tonight and get back to reply. I sincerely hope they're not the same as yours, since that would mean we're both in the same boat, and likely have the wrong injectors for our engines.

To answer your prior question, my limited knowledge of the 2nd Gen 13B EFI is that the primaries are 550cc/min and the secondaries are 780cc/min. I may be wrong. My SE uses 680cc/min injectors, which are different still.

Also, did you get your rebuilt Python's from BAP, or another source who knows something about rotary engines and their EFI requirements? HTH,

on all FC's. the primary and secondary injectors are the same as each other. 460cc on N/A. 550cc on turbo II>

4 550's on your N/A will run like crap.. and totatly not needed unless you added a turbo or supercharger.
