putting engine and tranny in all at once.....
i was just wondering how hard this is gonna be for me and where are some good mounting points for the chains to get it to go in at the angle i need. any help is appreciated. thanks -mike

Edited: not sure for the na's . but if you pulling a stock t2 engine there is a miunting hole on a bracket right near the oil filler and a mount on the UIM back towards the fire wall

Yea, just use the two mounting points and ease it in slowly... make sure you take the fan and pulley off if you have one and remove radiator... after that it should be easy, with the help of a friend, to put it in...

Butt Jim, that crane might have too short of a boom to slide that motor in. remember the 7 engine sits way back and the front nose does come into play.
As far as how, just get the right engine crane, strap a chain on and drop it in. Helper not a must but can be a life saver.
I usually have the car up on stands (all four corners) it makes the job a bit easier. Also, I always install with everhting I can assemble on the engine, intake included. never had a problem.

Have to disagree that boom is plenty long enough to get the engine into an FC engine bay and bolt it down. But looks like your son will have a definate sleeper once he gets the TII engine installed in that Jeep Jim

He had to give the Jeep project up...something about a fitment problem, or some such.
