put my new RB headers on today

today i put my new rb collected headers along with the bonez high flo cat. i gotta give it to RB they make very good products. i also have the RB cat back and the entire system is awesome. anybody else have experience with the headers? it was a pain in the *** to get to the bolts actaully nearly impossible until i took off the acv. after that it was really easy.

rx7.com thats where i got the cat and headers in one combo. they did a good job with all the hardware. even a block off plate for the acv. and an extension tube for the split air pipe.

40 HP my ***. I've got the full system, too. You see the most power when you take out the cats.

Those numbers might be right for a turbo car, cause the free flowing exhaust will get the boost up a few psi. On an NA that's a bit too much, IMO...

And the cats would quiet it down, but so will those RB mufflers. Quality stuff.

Enjoy the new sound!!

28% refers to true duals, this is not true duals.

The turbo with boost creep is 59HP, not 40.

Because I feel like being a nit picker...
It is header, not headers.

Boost creep? It's just the exhaust flow being freed up allowing to turbo to breathe better. You need to look up what boost creep is. But then again freeing up the exhaust on a stock turbo model with an FCD and a fuel pump will net the biggest gains.

28% from true duals?

If there is one gearhead tool I swear by, it is the Butt Dyno. Sh^#-eatin'-grins tell the entire truth. 5-10 HP or 40 hp, the fun factor is still increased.
