I just bolted up the Bonez 2.5" DP and since ive put it on my idle went up to about 1600rpms and it pulses right after I come to a stop. Anyone have an idea?

 

Did you try adjusting the idle afterwards? Is it possible you have an exhaust leak now?

 

Idle shouldn't change with the installation of a DP, unless your cat was so clogged the car wouldn't run. Sure you didn't knock anything loose while doing the install?

 

I dont think I knocked anything loose, well not that I know of, i checked over my recently new Vac lines, and yes I have tried adjusting the idle. And its doesnt sound like i have an exhaust leak, but why would an exhaust leak cause higher idle anyways?

 

Vacuum leak will cause a higher idle though, not an exhaust leak. How does the car run? Any noticeable hesitations? Do you still have the cold start water reservoir connected? Just trying to think of a vacuum line you may have dislodged.
