Yea push starting might very well work, but if it doesnt try just taking the plugs out and turning the engine and letting the gas exit out... mine flooded for the first time after sitting for 3 weeks... i got it started that way...

Push starting is the only thing that got my 86 GXL going.....it only took a few times too--got it up to 20 mph and then let out the clutch in 2nd gear. On the fourth try it fired right up, and it had not started in a couple years! Ben running ever since. Oh--make sure you change the oil once its running and check/clean the plugs too
