? on purchasing Turbo II

Ok, so there's a 10AE in my area for sale at a dealership for $4,000. 118k miles on the clock. I don't trust dealerships too much, so I might look for another one. If I decide to do so, should I see if they have all the service records? If not, should I just back away? There's also another TII about 10 minutes from my dorm at a dealership with 80k miles for 500 less, so I have another option.

I havent' seen either yet, just ads on autotrader. I'm not asking which one should I choose. I'm asking about service records

If they don't have service records, should I just forget it?

Like i said at AF: if you really really want the 10ae, and dont mind a rebuild soon, go for it. you can talk them down im sure. But if You don't care, go for the cheaper one.

Where in VA are you? There are some good rotary shops in VA from what I hear. Get it checked out at Rotary Performance in Manassas before you buy it and make sure everything is in good shape.

I live in Manassas, actually. Haven't heard anything about Rotary Performance, but i'm guessing their a good place? While i'm at school, i'm down in Richmond. Wonder if there's any places here.
