this may sound stupid but i pulled my motor and tranny today and i was trying to get thr tranny off and i know there is a couple of bolts around the tranny into the motor and i pulled them and i cant get the tranny off still. does it just pull off or is there somthign else that needs unbolted?

 

Did you take the starter off?

 

Have you checked the Factory Service Manual for transmission removal instructions? You are probably missing a bolt or two.

 

yea everything is off of it. i can pull the tranny off aobut 1-2 inchs then it just doesnt go no where
