Pulling codes on an S5 w/out CEL

My CEL hasn't worked for sometime and I'm not sure what caused it, maybe I clipped a wire or ground when I stripped my dash earlier this past year. In anycase, I'd like to know if there are any other ways to pull codes on an S5, something like the LED tester for S4's. If I have to tear through the dash to figure out why the idiot lights don't work so be it but I'd rather not especially since I only need one light.

Thanks for looking

I believe that the LED tester will work with S4 or S5, so that seems like your best bet. I have used it on my S5s. The codes differ a little between S4 and S5 as I remember.

There is and I've done it, it involves hooking up a test light to one of the green connectors in the engine bay. I forget which one it is though, but if you search you will find info on it; a post from NZconvertible IIRC.
