Pulled my tranny today...
And the basic removal was fine. Went off without a hitch, was able to set the transmission down gently, and im going to clean it up and paint it before i put it back up. The flywheel/clutch/pressure plate on the other hand...
I have pictures, but "burned" hardly does it justice. The last guy (I bought it like this...sadly enough) that drove it drove it till the clutch was completely burned out. Right now the old disc is about half the size of what it is new. But, as soon as i can find a damned flywheel, im going to buy it, just so i can get insurance and get the thing on the road again. After that, just need to change all the fluids, and make sure it has coolant. No other major mechanical isses that I know about.
The motor runs fine...just doesnt move because of the completely fried flywheel and pp/clutch assembly.
So, soon (next weekend, hopefully) I will have all of that put back together, and go flame test it on my street (its good to live in the middle of nowhere sometimes)
