I pulled my dash and wen i got it all back together my car will not crank. I have power and i can hear the fuel pump come on , but she just wont crank..

I noticed that there is a short wire with black and reg stripes on it that had broken from another connecter under the dash area. I used a jumper wire to connect the two again but still nothing...

On my other fc i disconnected that black and red wire from the connecter under the dash and it makes it so it does not crank...

Im not 100% sure its the black and red wire because i used jumper wire to connect the break in it..

Any idea what it could be...

 

is it part of the ignition next to the steering column? there are a lot of black and red wires under the dash, pics would be helpful
