Exclamation pulled emisions/rat's nest. idle went to hell. HELP!

well im finishing up my emisions removal project got everyhting put back together and the good news is that it starts and seems to be running ok. it just wont hold an idle for crap. if i hold the gas down a bit it will idle pretty well but its a little bit lumpier than before. ok ill give all the details so maybe you guys can help me out.

ints an s5 na

whats gone now:
BAC
ACV (both blocked off with k2rd plates and rtv sealer)
the entire rats nest.

what i did to patch it all up:
-ran new fuel lines to the primary and secondary rails
-looped a peice of hose between the two outlets on the intake snorkel for the BAC and AWS so their wouldnt be a leak.
-caped where the aws tube dumps into the the top intake manifold.
-ran a tube from the nipple on the oil fill neck to the nearest nipple on the middle IM (pcv substitute)
-connect the secondary fuel rail PR to the bottom nipple on the back of the TB
connected the primary and secondary injector bleed sokets together than up to the top nipple on the back of the TB.
-everything else got capped.

it will barely idle at 500rpm with the adjust screw all the way up and it feels like the throttle response is worse.

i did all this after reading the emisions removal writeup in the archive, i thought i was following all the directions, maybe i did, but maybe i didnt.

i switched to premix too at the same time. but i locktited all the bolts i used to plug the injector holes so i realy doubt they are causing a vac leak.

im thinking there arent realy any leaks but i proboly misrouted some stuff so now there isnt enough air getting through for a stable idle

please help!

You need to connect the FPR to a vacuum source. All the nipples at the back of the throttle body are fresh air lines. They end up before the throttle plates.

This is good.

I am assuming the problem is caused by the wacked out fuel pressure due to connecting the vacuum line to atmospheric pressure.

ok im gona give that a shot.

but why would the secondary FPR mess up the idle? it doesnt do anything until 3800rpm right?

s5s dont have fprs on the primary rail do they?

There is only one FPR. What looks like a FPR on the primary rail (but has no vac nipple) is the pulsation damper. The fuel rails are inline, and the FPR regulates the pressure through the entire system.

It must be connected to vacuum or you'll get rich mixtures at low load and idle. The FPR should be connected to whatever nipple on the LIM it was connected to before.
