Ok I have not be able to start my car. I now bought a tow rope and I am going to pull start it tonight.

What is the best gear to start it in. Will this hurt my engine?

This is a great way to start a really stubbornly flooded engine Good luck!

I used 2nd gear when I pull-started mine, since I found that 1st can cause it to jerk when it kicked.

Obviously, be prepared to quick brake to avoid hitting the tow vehicle.

 

Never ever in first gear, its in Mazdas manual, never use compression in first gear. Start in third. If it really doesn't want to start, do it in second, but dont go above 4000rpms. But in third at 2000rpms it should start in no time.

Didn't pull start it tow rope broke...

Push started it down a hill popped 2nd...

Wanted to stall...
I pressed in the clutch gave her gas....
She smoked out all the gas and took off....

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Drove the car around for over an hour and The ENGINE IS FINE!!!!!

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wooo Hoooooo..

My Baby is back running again....

Now have to fix all the little stupid ****!!!
