pros and cons of charcoal and cold start removal
just wanted to clean up my engine bay by removing my cold start system and charcoal canister before i do this can anybody tell me how this is done(which hoses to plug,etc...)and what effects negative or positive will this have on my motor.....thanks for your help

Dont remove the charcoal canister, it doesnt weigh anything and will be a wasted effort. The canister is a part of the fuel vapor recovery system. If you remove the canister and plug the lines you pressure the fuel tank, and if you leave the lines just hanging there you will be venting fuel vapor. Just leave it alone. It does no harm and offers no gain by removing it.

Cold start? Hey! This is Texas. Cold is 60 degrees. I've ripped mine off each and every car and put a home made blockoff plate over where it was installed with JB Weld. Never had a problem starting here due to the cold. Rid yourself of it.

I was thinking about removing my $hit to, but since it get real cold here (all you bastards that don't have to worry about it, damn you!)
Guess I'm going to keep mine.
Time to remove the power steering and AC though!

The pump is inside of the reservoir.
