Proper Tune-up Sequence for new Rebuild

Is this the correct sequence.....

1) Set TPS
2) Idle Speed
3) Timing

Reason I ask because the FSM F1 section has timing first in the chapter and TPS later. I have an old e-mail from Mazda saying to do the sequence I listed. My car is a 90 NA.

i like to do it in your order, but since you have the initial set coupler jumped when you set the timing it shouldn't actually matter

Thanks. Gut feeling tells me to do timing first vs TPS. Not sure why.

I generally check timing first.
