Proper fuel filter removal?'s
Hey guys, whats the best way to replace the fuel filter? Should I have the engine running and pull the fuel injection fuse, letting it die from lack of fuel? To releive pressure? Or whats the best way? Thanks much! I have a 88 T2!

I just left my car off overnight. When i pulled the hoses off the filter, there was only slight pressure, it didnt even spray fuel anywhere. I guess the system isnt 100% pressure tight with the car off and pressure bleeds off over time.

There is a fuse under the steering column for the fuel pump. Pull it when the car is running, the car will stall put the fuse back in and change the filter. The system should have barely any pressure in it then.
