Welll today i went to the post offfice to get my box and it said mazda on the sideeee






the engine will be being re rebuild friday.....

hehehe, i just went down stairs and test fit the coolent seals and they actually fit in the grooves lol..i guess as far as coolent seals oem is the way to go

Excellent. Remember, pics like before, and post them before you do the final assembly so that the gurus can check it over before you start torquing the block together.

how much was the kit?i'm pushing 200,000 on my motor no rebuild getting to that time .havent decided yet whether to go boosted or stay n/a

did you use aftermarket coolant seals? is that why you are re rebuilding the engine

yeah i used the RA coolent seals, peeps may like them but alll i know is they dident seem to fit in the groove good, i ended up pinching one but the oems fit perfect so hopefully this rebuild will go alot better..

wowser man, i'm gonna be going the same path as you not too far away yet, kinda weird knowing that their is a 15 year old that will probably be answering my dumb questions on my rebuild later on, im 16 and finally starting on my dead FC in the driveway. but yeah keep up the work YO!

Check the archives for a thread Karack started about rebuild parts list. It has a lot of good discussion and prices for rebuild parts.
