Project 7: GTU/ JDM TII Swap Project

So I just recently picked up a GTU with a JDM TII motor swapped into it. Picked her up for $1500 with some body problems but a supposed amazing engine. Seller claims 10-20k on the engine, runs and pulls hard I just hope he is telling the truth (no receipts). It has shot u-joints, I have the drive shaft just waiting to install it. It also has some warped brake rotors, which I am also getting replaced (any suggestions). Car is pretty much stock: Greddy BOV, E-Fan, 2.5in DP -> Nopi N1 3in exhaust, and I believe intake. Despite my u-joint problem I couldn't help but drive her, so I took her out with a friend of mine in his Speed 3. Needless to say we were pretty even (he pulled on me most the time), I think if I wasn't having this drive shaft problem it would have been nearly dead even. So I don't know if that lets you guys know how healthy the engine is. Buddy said my car was constantly letting out a bluish smoke, then black under boost, and sometimes white. I am taking my car to a friend of mine who races rotaries so I hope he'll be able to help. Previous owner stated when running a piston compression tester he got 3 bounces to 135 psi on all faces?

So right now with its minor problems I am getting a little flustered; stripped bolts, missing bolts, messed up gauge cluster surround, cracked interior pieces, and now I am feeling like I bought a car with a not so good engine too (which would be shitty because that was the main reason I bought it).

Plans for the car: Wide front fenders, possible LS1 swap (depending on how much I could sell my engine/tranny for), KYB AGX shocks/ Eibach GC springs, complete Infinity speaker system, and basic overhaul of exterior and interior.

It's just my opinion, but i hate it when people drop v8's in rx7s. Ya it's easier to run 10 sec. or under, but Rx7 = Rotary in my book. If it were me i'd work with what i have. My friend did this swap and his body and interior is worse than yours believe it or not! Nobody talks **** to him, though, cuz he's hitting low 12's!
On the other hand blue smoke is scary, hopefully it's not too serious.
Good Luck!

Getting the Drive shaft installed today and taking it to a friend of my dads to get checked out and get the 60k tune up.

I'll post news on car when I get the tune up and the drive shaft (hopefully it'll solve my tranny problems).
