Progress of my 87 n/a to 88T2 track car.

Well I have never shown pictures of my car to everyone but I figured since I am getting close to finalizing the project on stage 1, it deserves somewhat of an unveiling.

Pictures can be seen under 1. cars....2. Bj's project car @ http://www.zaxjax.com/

I have to work on updating the entire website after thanksgiving at it will be very indepth with how-to's and tips on installs and good deals on parts.

-Bought the car for $400 as a 87 se with no engine or tranny but it came with a nice set of Gotti racing wheels and hoosier slicks, RB sway bars, and DTSS with rear Camber bar.

ENGINE
-purchased a T2 swap with 80k on it with harness and tranny for $800
-T2 S4 drivetrain $200
-Haltech $600
-MMR full driveline hard mounts kit (cheap)
-Ported stock turbo
-TB mod
-Twin scroll removed
-dual belt alt pulley
-engine and engine bay freshly painted
-Fujitsubo turbo back dual exhaust from Japan!
-Koyo Rad

Interior:
-Everything removed
-Dry ice tactic to remove tar and full respray inside
-Gutted black dash
-Sparco Sprints $385
-Sparco steering wheel $90

Suspension:
-HKS coilovers Hyper D $700
-Axxiss Ultimate Pads
-SS brake lines
-Above mentioned sways and eliminating bushings
-HKs camber plates
-Hoosier slicks
-16x7 Gotti star 2-peice track rims

need to buy 1600 injectors and walboro pump before I start it and decide what cage design I want.
After a season on this motor it will be ported and shooting for mid to high 300's whp and wider wheels

for looks and cooling, I will go with a FMIC, two oilcoolers, s5 front bumper with odula lip and lots of alluminum work to make splitters and ducts for everything.

hope you like and check back on that website for many more good pics and info.

Please tell me you know these engines don't have pistons. Checked out the site and it's not too shabby, just throws you off when you list that stuff next to your engine and it says "pistons" next to it.

haha no its a joke.
The stickers where off my roomates fathers track vette.
I am making up some fun little decals on the machine for the track car.

One has a rotor on it and says "Pistons are for Pussies"
Its a inside joke off of an old GI Joe Public Service announcement that was dubbed over. (Lifevests are for pussies)

random but check out www.fenslerfilm.com hilarious stuff.
