hey, im just wondering who on here is using a profec A, and what you think about it. I dont care about profec B so dont bother posting about it. i just wanna know if you like the A. also a quick question, how do i get into learn mode. i heard fuzzy sux with mods, what do you think. i have a down pipe and pull exhust and my own home made intake. profec A, NO EMMISSIONS. Premix setup.

No one that I've read likes it. You can't get it to "learn" unless your car boosts consistent as hell, which I don't think anyone's does. There have been numerous threads about people ditching them and going with the B; but you don't want to hear about that

I have used a profec on the internal gate, and on external gate, in truth it sucks ***** on both... Also if you datalog the boost, you will find it "waivers" around the set boost pressure instead of holding it, the fuzzy logic is pretty fuzzy... on a boost setting of about 12 psi you will see a the boost bounce between about 10 and 13 psi, it kind of tries to average the boost , and thats one boost run never feels the same as another, and g-teching the car, the results always vary... Gonna try something else for boost control, maybe the next gen profec..
