profec-b boost controller

Ok I've done search after search but I still can't seem to find anything. I was woundering if anyone else has this boost controller? Well what I wanted to know is two things. First being that their are four wires that go into that thing (green, white) and (red, yellow) are the red and yellow power and ground? Second I was woundering if its true that the hose going from the waistgate to the in and from the out to wherever it goes has to be reall close or can it be relitivly far away like say 3 or 4 feet? Thanks.

I have this controller, closer is better as far as repsonse time goes, but if its got a few feet of hose it won't be too horrible. Green and white should have a plug on them, they go to the boost selenoid. On my controller I have black and red, red is power, and black is ground.

yeah, it'll work, the difference in response time is minimal, you just don't want like 6 feet of vacuum hose running from the selenoid to the wastegate.

Also, make sure that you have the little black box that the hose goes into situated the right way, don't turn it sideways or anything, just make sure it goes straight up and down.
How's that for a run on sentence
