problems with my car O2 sensor?

hi guys i'm posting up my problem again...i still haven't figured it out..but i got a code readout from the mechanic...the codes we got were 10, 13, 17, 27, and 08, all of them having something to do with either the intake or the O2 sensor...except 27 which is problem with oil meter pump, step motor or CKT??? anyways he thinks the O2 sensor is bad but is not sure....the problem with my car is that the car doesn't accelerate fast.....if i step on the gas more than 1/4 way, it bogs down and lacks power....and if i keep on it, it stalls out even while going at 50 mph. even while trying to accelerate, i have to nurse the clutch in order to get it to accelerate slowly or it will stall out...my question is that can a faulty O2 sensor be the cause of this?

the code 17 says "no change in O2 sensor" and that's what we're worried about the most rite now...also the engine is apparently running rich...how do u get it running normal again?

Unplug it and put a Dmm on it at idle. You should get approx .3v. If you're worried about it, put a new o2 sensor in it. You can get a Bosch unit for approx $30. With the right tool its 5 min to install.

The O2 sensor is closed loop right? The ECU only considers the signal from the 02 sensor when the car is at cruise like on the highway, or low lad conditions when you are crusing around the hood. I was told that if the TPS doesn't move after 3 seconds, (say you got the cruise control set) then the ECU will go into closed loop operation where it will sample the O2 readings and adjust fuel delivery for the most optimal MPG. If you think the O2 sensor is bad, you can get a new one pretty cheap., but this is what I think the problem is: You say you got a code for your oil metering pump. You didn't say yo have a '89+ year car, but if you got a code for that pump, I know you do because they were the only years with electric pumps. If I remember correctly, a malfunctioning pump will cause the ECU to go into limp mode. It will retard performance and illuminate the check engine light so you will know something is wrong.

Get a new mechanic. That's the best advice anyone can give you. If you've got a OMP error and they're too god damn stupid to realize that's why you're car is running like ***, well then, DEFINATLY find a new mechanic. And btw, STOP DRIVING IT. You're going to kill your motor driving around on a bad omp. Your O2 sensor has NOTHING to do with this.
